Founded by two SF Bay Area lads known for stomping dancefloors and throwing wax since the halcyon days of 1992, Subgrinden is the answer to the Left Coast electronic music scene. Passing on the mellow house vibe common to the region, Subgrinden brings a deeper, darker feel to their special brand of block rocking beats and bass pounding dubplates. Not content to sit on their laurels soaking up the highs and lows of global dance music culture, the boys are pushing the envelope to capture those elusive moments of auditory mayhem that lay waste to dancefloors across the globe. Bringing together an international roster of artists, encouraging an ecology of samplitude and remixture through the creative commons, and striving to push and break the boundaries of electronic music, Subgrinden speaks the language of creation through the beatbox, the asstrack, and the muthafunkin gangsta beat.
